Where is the fuse for the airconditioner compresor located?

I forgot to mention it is a 1995 chevy van astro delivery,My book sayes it is in the underhood electric center (relays and fuses) but I don't have a underhood electric center and its not in the fuse panel under the dash ether,any help will be apreciated....(don't judge me by my spelling)
