When compossing mail with html, how to make images appear , cause they dissapear when i put html in body tex?

I need to do this as a newsletter, I have the code in HTML and also my carpet with all the images linked to it, now, what do i have to do to make the html appear as body text with the imeges, cause when i paste the html code as body text the images disappear...is there a way to do this directly from your mail account or you need a program to like compress the html with the images...HOPE U CAN HELPME ON THIS ONE!!! thx a lot!!
